For SIGNS, a research on visual languages and writings, long time collaborator dancer Laurel Jenkins was invited to perform « her alphabet » , resulting in a myriad of body signs, each expressing an intimate state and personal dance gesture. In the final installation, each sign is a separate free element on a panel, the viewer can move and rephrase with others, recomposing its own pattern.
