Gowanus Dance in L'Aquila Italy 2015 - 2016
On April 6, 2009, an earthquake devastated the city of L’Aquila, in central Italy. Six years later, L’Aquila is the largest construction site in Europe. ArtBridge aims to help revitalize the city by partnering with Italian non-profit organization Off Site Art to install art on many of its construction sites. By covering L’Aquila’s ubiquitous scaffolding with bright, inspirational art, ArtBridge and Off Site Art hope to foster a rebirth of culture and new possibilities.
